Origin

Midlander is a phonetic alphabet created by Erik Ruser for use in a series of fantasy novels currently being written by his friend Eric Vargo. The alphabet was created for a language by the same name which is currently under development by Eric, but it can also be used to approximate English as well as most European languages.
