A Quebec man is in custody after police found three bodies – a woman and two girls – in a home south of Thetford Mines.
Police were called to the home, in the town of Saint-Romain, around 6 p.m. Friday.
There they found the bodies of a woman and two girls, aged 8 and 11.
The Canadian Press is reporting the victims were shot.
The 35-year-old man was in the house when officers arrived.
It's not clear how or if the victims and suspect are related.
St. Romain is 90 kilometers northeast of Sherbrooke.
