What’s considered by many to be the quintessential Nintendo shooter, GoldenEye, is now coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Sony and Activision have partnered to give the PS3 version a special bundle. The next level of espionage is at your fingertips in the most interactive James Bond experience yet with Activision’s GoldenEye 007: Reloaded Double ‘O’ Edition. The robust bundle will include the game on Blu-ray disc, PlayStation Move motion controller, navigation controller, PlayStation Eye camera and Sharp Shooter peripheral, offering fans pinpoint control as they jump straight into the legendary story campaign and frenetic 16-player multiplayer matches.  BothGoldenEye 007: Reloaded and the PlayStation 3 exclusive Double ‘O’ Edition bundle pack will be available at retail outlets nationwide on November 1, 2011.

Assassin's Creed Revelations follows master assassin Ezio Auditore as he walks in the footsteps of hislegendary mentor, Altaïr, on a journey to recover five ancient seals that hold the keys to the future of the Assassins brotherhood. It is a perilous path one that will take Ezio to Constantinople, the heart of the Ottoman Empire, where a growing army of Templars threatens to destabilize the region. The game publisher recently showcased the title at Gamescom 2011 and PAX Prime 2011. Here’s a video walkthrough of the final chapter in the series.

Cologne – Over 275,000 gamers flocked to Cologne for Gamescom 2011, which set a record for the three year old convention. While gamers were happy to get hands-on with some of the biggest titles of this year and next, a German TV station sent reporters to the convention center to rip apart the attendees. In the U.S., being a nerd or geek is cool these days. Not so in Germany, according to the below report.

Available in tandem with the launch of Square Enix’ Deus Ex: Human Revolution game, musterband is allowing gamers to ‘become’ Adam Jensen, the iconic, trenchcoat-wearing hero of Eidos Montreal's blockbuster game. Fans can gear up in Adam’s signature outfit, or purchase clothing and accessories from other in-game characters. Completing the line are items inspired by the game. 

We're just weeks away from the release of Epic Games' epic conclusion to its third-person action series Gears of War 3, and to commemorate the occasion at GamesCom, the team released a trailer that tells the opening of the story.  It's minorly spoiler-ish...but definitely worth watching.

Cologne – Activision showcased its biggest games, including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, at Gamescom 2011, the world’s largest trade fair for interactive games and entertainment. Attendees had the opportunity to experience several innovative titles from Activision’s upcoming line-up on the show floor. Gamers were able to get hands-on with Modern Warfare 3’s Special Ops survival co-op mode before its November 8 release.

Battlefield 3 is definitely a highly anticipated game.  The GamesCom crew recently voted it as the Best In Show, and fans lined up to get their hands on it and go to war with their fellow players.  However, not everyone is crazy about the game, as a modding site recently posted a story indicating that the game was frying PC's and not running up to full optimization.  Suuuuure...
