Production History
Songs for a New World was presented by the WPA Theater (Kyle Renick, artistic director) in New York City for performances beginning October 10, 1995. The final performance was November 5. Sets by Stephan Olson, costumes by Gail Brassard, lighting by Craig Evans, sound design by Jim Bay and John Curvan, casting by Andy Zerman, Johnson-Liff Casting, musical direction by Jason Robert Brown, orchestrations by Jason Robert Brown and Brian Besterman, choreography by Michael Arnold and direction by Daisy Prince. The opening night cast was as follows: Brooks Ashmanskas, Andrea Burns, Jessica Molaskey and Billy Prter. The stage manager was Kristen Harris.
