Valparaiso, already the leader in the NTCA Coaches’ Poll, is the leader of the first NTCA Media Poll, it was announced Monday. The Crusaders, 37-12 so far this season, garnered 10 of 14 first-place votes.

No. 6 Vanderbilt rallied from second place and captured its second consecutive Mid-Winter Classic. The Commodores defeated No. 8 Arkansas State in the championship match Sunday.
