@maxordw: Intellectual property, usually most often used together with "new".

The Wii U may be a bigger system as long as they don't sell out to shovelware. Hardcore or good Wii games were few compared to the crap games. And I hope they improve upon internet gaming.

One thing I like so-far about the Wii-U (hope I get this right) is that some if not all the game for this system will show the games-UI on the Wii-U-tablet and or both the TV and tablet, so that the game screen itself will be alot less cluttered!! I think that's a pretty-cool indeed!!

@LinkRyan and @FlyingAce1016 When they say Nintendo needs to focus more on "core games" and not so much on their mario, zelda and Nintendo titles they're not saying "to hell with Mario" they're saying they need to focus on other audiences as well. They're not saying Nintendo should stop making any Nintendo games. Most of the Wii's games were the Mario, Zelda, Metroid titles. Their 3rd party support was terrible. What these guys are saying is, that if Nintendo wants to appeal more to core gamers they should really get the attention of 3rd party developers to make games for their system, so that the console can have a longer life cycle than the Wii.

I think if nintendo would make a new IP. If kid icarus uprising does well maybe we can see Pit getting his own Wii U game.

Saying that we don't need more zelda or more mario is kinda telling Nintendo to shoot their fans in the face and defecate on their corpses. As it stands Nintendo IS NOT releasing enough first party content, their first party content is ever becoming more scarce. They NEED to bring Zelda, Metroid, Mario, Smash Bros., ect... to the Wii U. Sure new IPs are great and it would help to bring in the fans that are into the call of duty games and what not, but they really need to step up their first party games and really push their original IPs and make seriously compeling iterations of them for the Wii U to really get the gamers going just like in the SNES days. Personally I don't think Nintendo will disappoint. When they say they will do something more often than not they do it. With the Wii they wanted to capture non-gamers and what happened? They did it. With the Wii U they want to bring back the gamers and keep the non-gamers... It might be difficult but if that's their most likely they are gonna do everything in their power to accomplish it and we just need to wait and see rather than toss them in the blender just because the media thinks they are nuts. Nintendo is nuts, but their madness has method and I hope they deliver some good fun with their new tech.

@theshonen8899 That's what I meant, thanks for clarifying I don't know much about that stuff. The top "film" feels and acts like gel, you can see it "squish" down in certain lighting, so that's why I said that I was just wondering why they show both a stylus and your fingers working on it. I happen to know that the tip of your finger doesn't work hardly at all on a DS, so I wonder what the screen is like. That's what I want to know

The guy that was saying how Nintendo needs to have new games other then Mario and Zelda needs to stfu, that's one of the main things of Nintendo is the good old school titles that there still making new fresh experiences of. I mean I have nothing against GameSpot at all, but it just seems like there trying have this console more of the PS3 and Xbox 360 sort of console, instead of Nintendo going in a bit of a different direction which makes them so unique. (I'm not talking about all those family friendly titles, hell no.)

This video felt like the Battlefield vs. CoD one, only it wasn't, how can Battlefield be more like CoD?, it was, how can Nintendo be more like Sony/Microsoft?

i think when the wii u comes out it's going to be one of the best systems ever to hit game stores every where. the graphics for the wii u just look totally amazing and not only can you play it on the big screen but you can also play games on it like you're playing on an I pad cause you can use you're fingers to play games that are on the screen of the wii u and also the best thing aout it is you can talk to people and learn to draw pictures.

Didn't a certain game for the 3DS called OoT 3D come out, that's going to sell millions in just the first week. You don't anything about Zelda so go play your COD.

They need exclusives, simple as that. First party will only appeal to those that are already fans on the N and probably have the Wii, and just having those same 3rd Party games that are available on PS3/360 won't be enough to convince hardcore gamers to give up their favorite platforms and switch to the WU. They need exclusive Third-Party games, from Ubi, EA etcc if they want to expand their market.
