You don’t mess with Agent 47.  You may not even know he’s there, but if you’re in his sights, you might as well draw up your will and say goodbye to everything, because chances are you won’t survive.  The master CIA assassin has been doing his damage for the past few years, and this fall, he continues on his suave yet destructive journey of perfect kills with Hitman: Absolution.  Square Enix recently invited us down to its suite during the Consumer Electronics Show to get a better look at the game.

EA Sports seems set to continue its footballistic dominance with back to back soccer titles early in the new year. In March FIFA Street will be changing the game on balled-up-rags-kicking urchins everywhere. For more on the excitement of yours truly, check out our preview on the matter.

Naughty Dog may have turned the page on its smashing Uncharted franchise, but the Sony-owned studio is still working -  hand-in-hand with new steward Bend Studio - to bring you a prequel to the trilogy.

I've never owned a Sony handheld, but WipeOut 2048 makes me want to join the club. The no-grav racer series has been rather quiet these past few years, its sole current-generation title (WipeOut HD) originally released as a PSN-only title. Fortunately, WipeOut seems to be speeding around the bend to make every other racer look like a virtual venture into snail-farming.

Ubisoft has done extremely well when it comes to the Tom Clancy video game franchise over the years. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6 franchise has sold more than 25 million copies worldwide. And this was long before the current stalwarts like Battlefield 3 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 dominated the shooter genre. The Rainbow 6 games are known for depicting high-tech counter-terrorist operations set within Tom Clancy’s game world. Shipping in 2012 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6 Patriots revolves around a dynamic single-player storyline that captures the reality of modern-day terrorism and allows players to experience it from multiple characters’ perspectives.

Association football is a popular sport, and FIFA 12 a popular game. Such was the core of the message offered by Andrew Wilson, head of EA Sports, at the company’s Winter Preview Event last week. Along with the two other professed pillars – investment in gameplay and authenticity to the sport – it is social connectivity that made 2011 a standout year for the franchise.

The WWE is known for a few things; passionate fans, wild entertainment, and some of the greatest talent to ever step into the ring. WWE '12's roster continues to floor us with recent additions such as Brock Lesnar, Eddie Guerrero, Kevin Nash, and the like. But you can't forget the WWE's sexy Divas divison. Gone are the bra and panties matches of yesteryear, these girls are in it, to win it.

GoldenEye is one of the classics of console FPS games. It gave players the freedom to play through levels stealthy or guns blazing and had fairly fun multiplayer. Recently, it saw a remake for the Wii, featuring motion controls and somewhat improved graphics. Now another release of the game is in the works, this time with HD graphics for the PS3 and Xbox 360. Is this game really so fun that it deserves yet another version in this short span of time? That's what I went into my hands-on with GoldenEye 007: Reloaded wondering.

Amidst news of a buggy beta and even journalists running into their fair share of glitches, I went into my hands-on with Battlefield 3's multiplayer, featuring the Grand Bazaar and Operation Firestorm maps, unsure of what to expect. I had to wonder if it was as bad as the naysayers were making it out to be? Once I saw for myself, I was pleased to find my worries were completely unfounded.

Summer is coming to an in just a few weeks, taking the beach days and the hot weather along with it. You can look at it as a bad thing as that means everyone goes back to school. However, a lot of people look forward to the change in season because that means it's football season, and there's no better way to kick the season off with Madden NFL 12. This year, there aren't many new features to speak of because EA Sports decided to put more emphasis on improving the gameplay overall. After getting the chance to play it at several events, the improvement can certainly be noticed.
