Experienced Java web developer

We're looking for an experienced java web developer who feels ready to take the next step towards becoming team lead/architect or perhaps project manager.  You will work at our office in Merksem (Antwerp) and be actively involved in both the development of applications and the customer communication part of it.  Your technical, verbal and writing skills are all up-to-speed for this challenge.  Your social attitude and ability to deliver are just two of your other assets.

MUST HAVE

• Higher education and several years hands-on, preferably as team lead
• Excellent knowledge of Java/J2EE & web development (xhtml, css, javascript)
• Experience with Spring, Hibernate and other frameworks
• Knowledge of development methodologies

SHOULD HAVE

• Dutch or English as mother tongue (or equivalent)
• A can do mentality that looks for solutions
• A preference for Agile in all its forms
• Good knowledge of functional aspects of software applications

COULD HAVE

• A love for direct communication with business and customers
• The drive to teach and make people grow
• Know-how of complex, high-performance web solutions
• An open mind that fits in a small and fast evolving company
