Information

A painting game with Mario as its figurehead. You start the game with a blank canvas and several paint options, such as pen width, spraypaint, filler, erase, stamps, and so on. There is a second menu where you can call up colouring book pictures, an animation-frame maker, and a music maker (with several odd synth effects, and three pre-made tunes).

You can put a picture, animation and music together and save the result. The title screen can be played with by clicking on various letters on the title, and Mario, who is running around. There is also an unusual mini-game where you control a fly-swatting hand who has to dispatch a variety of enemies without being touched. As you progress through stages in the minigame, they become more difficult, but eventually repeat.

This game was the first to be compatible with the SNES mouse, and came packaged with it in a large box.

Cameos

Game Boy Stamp

One of the stamps you can use in your artwork is a Game Boy. It also appears as a note in the music creator, and plays an 8-bit beep sound effect.

Kazumi Totaka's Song

Kazumi Totaka's Song

On the title screen, clicking the mouse cursor on each of the letters in the title has a different effect. Click on the "O" and it will turn into a bomb and explode, stopping the music. A few seconds later, a strange song will play.

This is Kazumi Totaka's song, an easter egg hidden in nearly every game the Nintendo composer has worked on. For more appearances of this song, check the Kazumi Totaka's Song Guide
