Camelot once again step forward to develop an updated version of the Mario Golf game. New courses and characters appear, and the graphics have been greatly improved upon since the original. Gameplay has been altered only very slightly - your swing-meter is not as forgiving as the N64 version, forcing you to time it quickly in order to make a decent shot.

There are two kinds of golf games to play. There are standard golf courses, and then there are also courses with Mario-related obstacles. You can also play a range of minigames, where you have to play within certain limitations, such as hitting the ball through a certain number of rings.

Pikmin Flowerbeds

On the Peach's Castle Grounds levels you sometimes see yellow flowerbeds. Hit your ball into one of them to throw up a small group of red, yellow and blue Pikmin.
