Ashley Robbins is a 13 year old girl who for years has believed both her parents to be dead. Just before her 14th birthday she receives a letter from her father, who has been living in secret on Blood Edward Island for years, conducting research into a device known as "Another". With the letter came directions to the island and an electronic device called the DAS. Ashley sets off with her aunt and a surly boat captain to find her father, but the island holds many mysteries.
Another Code is a point and click adventure game. On the touch screen you navigate the island from a birds eye view. When you want to investigate an area, touch the investigate icon to bring the view on the top screen down to the touch screen where you can take a closer look. If you spot something unusual, try picking it up, moving it or using one of the items in your inventory.
You later come across a lonely ghost boy on the island named D, who died 57 years ago on the island. As well as uncovering the truth about your own past, you must help D find the truth about his death as well.
When it comes to solving puzzles, you have to use the many abilities of the DS to work out how to solve them. At the end of each chapter you will also have to take part in a memory game to recall events that have happened to Ashley.

In the Silver Bird Room, before you pick up the N Book, the third book from the left is called "The Legend of Zelda Chronology". In the Golden Bird Room, before you pick up the E Book, the leftmost book is called "Path of Radiance", the subtitle of the GameCube title Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance.
