Who is involved?
Cisco is working to deliver unique learning activities. Our goal is to maximise the visibility Cisco’s role as the official network infrastructure provider of London 2012 and use it as a springboard to promote learning and great teaching.
Cisco Networking Academy
Just as sporting academies the world over are training athletes for the Games, Cisco are training over 1 million students in 11,000 Cisco Academies, in 167 countries worldwide.
Not only does this equip them with relevant technology skills, it also opens doors to a plethora of employment opportunities.
Cisco technology also provides students the freedom to learn outside of the classroom, with e-learning, online curriculums and assessments. Cisco have also run successful academies in places as diverse as community centres, homeless centres, football clubs, prisons and military bases as well as traditional schools, colleges and universities.
