Current Restoration Projects

Restoration activities are currently focused upon preparing and moving aircraft and spacecraft to the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center. The Museum cannot maintain a current list of all objects undergoing restoraton because artifacts are moving so rapidly in and out of the workshop. Below are restoration projects previously completed at the Garber Facility.

The Mary Baker Engen Restoration Hangar has been built in the new wing of the Udvar-Hazy Center, where visitors will be able to view artifact restoration work in progress.
