 Specific approved events may be held at the National Museum of the United States Air Force. Because the museum is federal government property, any non-public use of the museum must be consistent with laws, policies and directives. Events may not interfere with the museum's primary mission and may not exceed the museum's capability of support.
Fund raising events are not permitted, with the exception of those meeting the criteria set forth in Section 3-210 of the Joint Ethics Regulation.
The requestor may not seek the use of the museum primarily for its novelty or aesthetical appeal.
The Special Events Division is the focal point for reviewing each request, applying the applicable criteria and rendering a decision. The requestor will be advised, in writing, whether an event is approved or disapproved. If approved, the Special Events staff will send a statement of expenses to all groups, along with a memorandum of agreement.
