• AAM does not give out or sell a mailing list of accredited museums. 
• Individuals or companies can rent AAM member mailing lists. For details click here and scroll to the end of the page.

Confidentiality Information

AAM does not disclose the details of the listed museums' current or past accreditation reviews. Only award dates are public information (available upon request). Any information about a currently or formerly accredited museum's application to the program, copies of its paperwork, its status in the accreditation review process, Accreditation Commission decision details, or other accreditation history can only be disclosed by the museum itself, at its discretion. Museums not on this list are not currently accredited by the AAM. Details about why a museum was once on this list but is no longer is not disclosed by AAM.
