The National Museum of the United States Air Force hosts outdoor aviation events each year. Here is a list of upcoming events:

Giant Scale Radio-Controlled Model Aircraft Air Show
Aug. 31-Sept. 2, 2012
See daring acrobatics performed by model jets, helicopters and warbirds during a three-day air show of giant scale radio-controlled aircraft on the runway behind the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. This event is hosted by the museum each year over Labor Day weekend and is sponsored by the Dayton Ohio Giant Scalers. Hours for the event are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. each day. FREE admission and parking.
