Street Fighter X Tekken trailer reveals new characters, teases ... Pac-Man in Vita version

Capcom released a new Street Fighter X Tekken trailer, showing new characters for the crossover fighter, including Balrog, Juri, Vega, Paul, Law, and Xiaoyu. But that's not important right now.

What is important is a tease for the Vita version at the end of the trailer, which shows silhouettes of what is clearly Pac-Man, and what appears to be some kind of Mega Man variant. Mega Man in a fighting game is relatively common (and still welcome), but Pac-Man? We now live in a time in which a yellow sphere from a 1980 arcade game can beat up on the guy from Infamous. Wondrous!

Well, you can at least cross off Mega Man from that list! It's probably Frank West in a Mega Man suit, or Zero in Mega Man's body, or Frank West dressed up as Zero dressing up as Mega Man.

This isn't the bottom of the barrel, this is the rotted underside of the barrel.

It's as if Capcom saw people ironically liking Bad Boxart Mega Man and thought they genuinely liked him, even more than ANY VERSION OF MEGA MAN EVER MADE.

No console love for Pac-Man? Hopefully they add him as DLC...or they could just unlock him on the disk by winning a certain amout of matches, and not that Jill and Shuma MVC like bullcrap...just saying

I hope he's not console-exclusive! I didn't want to play this game but now...

His moves will be the same as everyone else's. A, B, C, launcher, jump, A, B, C, tag, A, B, C etc. More like MvC than SF or Tekken.

WOW. This actualy looks pretty good. Vita vertion for the win. Hope to see Mega Man also.

Hell yeah, Vega!! Please tell me they fixed his Bloody High Claw so that if you connect with the initial knee he actually continues the rest. Tired of nailing people with the start of my ultra and whiffing the damaging portion.

They fixed that in 2012, it hits anywhere now. I love me my Vega =)

Bloody High Claw is not the same as the Izuna Drop super. Plus Vega did Bloody High Claw in the trailer, did you not watch?

And yes the Izuna Super is trash in SF4 mainly because it's a dead giveaway when you wall bounce that it's coming. I connect it now and then on unsuspecting opponents though, but yeah it's the hardest super to connect other than Hakan's.

God damn, how the hell many characters is Sony going to get exclusive, but none are in the 360 version?

You clearly didn't watch the trailer.

It's a pity no one has heard of 90% of the characters on the Tekken side.

It mentions more characters lurking in the shadows, or whatever. Behind Balrog and Xiaoyu specifically you see a "shadow" version of the character. I wonder if that's a plot device as well, or if they are boss characters, etc. Anyone else notice this?

I already love this game and all it's showing, but I won't lie when I say that I'd love it thrice the times if it were Capcom vs SNK 3

When I think of Pac-Man in a fighting game I think of Ultimate Chimera from Mother 3 for some reason. Just thinking of his bites... they must K-O EVERYTHING.

Love Capcom's animation. It's so colorful and fast paced.

Its nice to see Capcom has kept tekken's tradition of everyone speaking different languages but still being able to understand each other lol.

Looks good. I keep buying these things and not playing them though. -_-
