Barren River Lake
Enjoy the contemporary styling of the park's 22 cottages and villas. Each of the cottages and villas has two bedrooms and two baths. Several of our cottages provide charming lake views while other cottages are nestled in the woods providing a cozy getaway. 12 of our villas have a fireplace.
Lake Cumberland
For more private accommodations, choose a one or two-bedroom cottage.
Ten Wildwood cottages feature contemporary design and fireplaces.
Pennyrile Forest
Your pick of 13 cottages located in the wooded lodge area and on the shores of Pennyrile Lake. The one and two-bedroom cottages have unique features, offering wooded or lake views, and such amenities as private boat and fishing docks and fireplaces.

Lake Cumberland
The indoor pool complex at Lure Lodge features a temperature-controlled pool, an atrium, a retractable skylight for warm weather, a game room, and an exercise room with a hot tub.
Lake Barkley
Pamper yourself year-round with the help of an indoor heated wellness pool at Lake Barkley’s Fitness Center. In addition to the pool this facility is equipped with nautilus machines, fitness cycles, free-weight room, leverage equipment, aerobic classes, glass racquet ball court, tanning beds, sauna, wet-steam room, whirlpool, and locker rooms. Massage therapy is also available by appointment.

Resort Park Hiking Trails
Lake Cumberland - Baugh Branch Trail
1.6 miles, linear trail, trailhead located 3.6 miles back from park entrance, level terrain and easy grade, end of trail is steep, leads up to lake overlook and Baughs Branch.
Barren River Lake - Connell Nature Trail
1 mile looped nature trail with a soil and root surface, easy to moderate trail rating, features include an old farm cistern, views of the beach, seasonal streams, wildflowers, ferns, deciduous trees, and a large paw paw patch.
Carter Caves - Cross Country Trail
The 4-C's Trail, 7 1/2 miles, begins at Welcome Center, passes through the Shangra La arch, runs parallel to Smokey Valley Lake before crossing Smokey Creek and ascending hill leading to Johnson Homeplace Backcountry Primitive Campground, permit required to camp and may be acquired from welcome center, trail crosses lake spillway and joins Three Bridges trail for return to welcome center.
Jenny Wiley - Steve Brackett Memorial Trail
1.0 mile, entrance from Moss Ridge Hiking Trail, breathtaking views of cliff chains and plant life, some of the oldest trees in park are located on this trail, chance to see whitetails and turkey.
