Ron Vanover grew up in McCreary County, Kentucky, on a small subsistence farm in Beulah Heights. The area is only a "stone's throw" from Cumberland Falls State Resort Park. It is here that Ron acquired his love and attention to detail for nature while observing the habits and movements of his father.
