The Big Bang Theory: "The Cohabitation Formulation" Review

Let me preface this review by explaining the delay. Just traveled 27 hours back from Romania. I will do my very best to make sense, but if I throw in a va rog here and there, I hope you will forgive me.

So... two of our boys showed a little of their chauvinistic side tonight, didn't they? Howard wants Bernadette to shop for him and do his laundry and Raj is using Hindu law to forbid his sister from doing the "dance with no pants" with Leonard. Yes, yes. I know it's a comedy. Unknot your knickers.

In tonight's episode, Raj's sister, the stunning Pria is back. Instead of breaking Leonard's heart like last time, they decide to hook up. They quickly become that disgusting couple at parties that you throw chips at. They quote Shakespeare to each other and take long weekends in Catalina. Raj freaks out and forbids it, with a little help from his religious beliefs. Pria responds with the part of their faith that says that if you eat beef, you must live with cows for three days and drink their urine. Really, really funny scene, but timely and...never mind. You all get that this stuff actually happens. I don't have to tell you.

Meanwhile, Bernadette asks Howard to untie the apron strings and move into her place. After a tiff, he does. He also expects her to do his chores, shopping for string cheese and drive him to the dentist. She refuses (I knew I loved her) and he runs home to mommy. Will someone promote Bernadette to full time cast member already? Is there anyone out there who disagrees with me?

And now, back to one of the original premises of the series. Penny is upset that Leonard is dating Pria. This is why I still love this show. We did the angst. We did the hook up. We knew there would eventually be tension again. But instead of something totally predictable and blah, we get Amy Farrah Fowler showing up to comfort her BFF. Penny isn't sure she's really upset until AFF points out why she should be. Forget the ulterior motive of getting Penny to cry so she can upset a chimp. I can't believe I'm saying this two weeks in a row, but yay AFF! We're getting to see even more of her human side and her influence on Sheldon. (He makes you a hot beverage if you show up to his home upset and he's trying to be a better friend...in typical Sheldon fashion.) So yeah, we're back to wondering if and when those two crazy kids will get back together. We just got it in a fresh and very funny way.

Favorite moment tonight? For me it was the smiles from Penny when she watched Sheldon and computer AFF interact. They try to make her feel better and she didn't roll her eyes. So what did you think?
