Every day hundreds of new apps make their debut on the App Store, and hundreds more are updated or reduced in price. We have sifted through the noise and highlighted those select few that might be worth your attention.

Game Debuts

Imperial ($9.99)
The classic war-themed board game has come to iOS. This port is a bit weak right now, featuring only pass and play multiplayer. No online play or AI opponents. But updates are supposedly in the works to flesh out the package.

SpaceChem Mobile ($5.99)
The incredibly brilliant indie PC puzzle game SpaceChem is now on iOS. Like most mobile ports, the release is full-featured but still available for a cheaper price. If you're a puzzle game fan, give SpaceChem a long, hard look.

The Timebuilders: Pyramid Rising ($0.99)
Big Fish took a break from releasing iOS hidden object games this week, and opted instead to launch this casual time management/strategy title.

Price Drops

Cat Physics (Free)
Cat Physics is free all week long. It's one of the best physics puzzlers on iOS, either free or paid. It deserves a place in everyone's library. Grab it!

Battleground (Free)
We haven't played this cute lane-picking strategy title yet, but we definitely plan on giving it a shot while it is free.

Wildlings (Free)
Wildlings is a cute and cuddly little strategy brawler. We're impressed with its production values.

Updates

Groove Coaster
There are now three brand new songs for players to groove to: Just no friend, Protocol Signal Generation & Hello 31337.

Shadowgun
Shadowgun has been updated to fix the crashing issue plaguing many gamers, as well as an unfortunate bug with the level 4 boss.
