Alas, the participants were way off the mark on the random questions, but we had a clause in there that the award could go to the funniest comments. So I have chosen to give the prizes to the three comments that I found the most amusing.

VG247 has a quick quote from Remedy Entertainment's Oskari Hakkinen praising Rockstar's take on the classic series Remedy pioneered back in 2001. It should be music to fan's ears that Rockstar is bouncing Max Payne 3 off of Remedy to ensure that it has the right feel and lives up to the franchise. See the full quote below :
“We’ve been blessed with being able to actually see the game and give some feedback. We’ve been meeting with Rockstar and looking at Max 3 – it looks absolutely phenomenal – the nice thing is we’ve been giving our feeling on the game but at the end of the day we don’t have to do any of the heavy lifting, which is nice. Rockstar don’t make bad games, so you already know it’s going to be good. Just like we hope the Remedy brand is a seal of quality, you know that Rockstar’s brand is a seal of quality. It’s been nice to be part of the process, but we don’t want to take any of the limelight. From what we’ve seen it’s going to be absolutely fantastic.”
My level of console involvement is a game of Guitar Hero on my Playstation 2 about a year ago. Even when trying to tune out the console scene, it is impossible to not overhear the praise for Dark Souls. Considered by many to be one of, if not the top game of 2011, console title or not, it has no doubt made a name for itself. Dark Souls continues to bring the brutal difficulty introduced by its predecessor, Demon Souls in 2009.
RPS found a forum post by an admin giving fans some hope that the highly acclaimed game will be ported to the PC.
"There is always possibilities to have games adapted on PC and the good news is that Dark Souls is not a 100% typical Console game so the adaptation is possible. Now to make things happen, let's say the demand has to be properly done. someone to make a successful petition?"
This of course is nothing near any kind of solid plan by Namco Bandai, but has spawned a petition to bring Dark Souls to the PC. It is argued that Namco would be able to bring the series to a whole new market with little risk as well as take advantage of the PC's technical superiority. If you are interested in seeing Dark Souls (no mention of Demon Souls) on PC, you can sign the petition here.
Is this a remake of the original?Kind of. Re-imagining is probably a better term. Firaxis' XCOM: Enemy Unknown doesn't directly copy the underlying game systems – for instance, soldiers have different stats than they did in the 1994 original – but the concepts are still here. Players still have to manage multiple resources and threats on a global scale in a seemingly hopeless war against extraterrestrial forces with far better technology and capabilities.
Is this going to be dumbed down for the "wider console audience"?
Firaxis is undeniably streamlining aspects of the game and removing no small amount of micromanagement, but from what I've seen I wouldn't call it "dumbing down" the game so much as getting rid of tedium and uninteresting mechanics. Soldiers still die permanently, fog of war and line of sight are hugely important in combat, and you absolutely can lose the game if you screw up too badly.
The Illuminati are invisible puppet-masters and corporate manipulators, and they crave power and wealth by any means necessary. They may have ancient roots, but they remain forever young and hungry. The Illuminati’s golden agents enjoy power, money and glamour – but the real power they offer you goes beyond that: Information worked from every civilian, government and clandestine organization in the world.
To start Illuminati week off, Funcom has released some new artwork, and if you're a Facebook fan then you can access The Secret World Q&A; app to submit questions for Illuminati Week.
