Never played Batman, but I guess I have to now...

Funny that everyones bagging on the 3rd party games been on this list. It would be a fairly short and uneven list if ONLY exclusive games made the lists.
Also, I think it's good to see if a game (say CodMW3) was scored better on one console than the other.
In my mind Uncharted won the PS3 list easy regardless of been exclusive. Skyrim wins on the PC (the ps3 version was shocking, not sure about Xbox).
Batman was great on both consoles, so it deserves at least one prize.
I own a x360/ps3 and pc, and love GOW3 (not to be confused with god of war 3 haha)however if it was multiplatform I still don't think it would beat Uncharted or Skyrim, and wasn't really better than Batman either.

It's not that there aren't enough Xbox exclusives, but maybe there are a bit too many PS3 exclusives. Not that I don't like PS3, but most games you see on Xbox you can also get on PS3. Sorry but I just can't dish out the dollars to buy a PS3, even if I need it to play certain games.

at least a ps3 exclusive game won the Best PlayStation 3 Game and had actual exclusives to compete against 3rd party games...unlike the 360 it had to depend on 3rd party games and batman won the best 360 game ..so i guess ps3 won that award too since it was on the ps3 also ..power of the ps3 baby!!!!!!!! :)

Not happy Gears didn't win and not impressed it didn't make it into the GOTY nominations. With all its game modes, ongoing updates and new modes available in the online playlists, it really is incredible value for money. Not to mention DLC bringing with new characters, campaigns, MP skins and maps - I'm really glad this was the game I decided to buy a season pass for!

Whilst Uncharted 3 is a fun game, joining multiplayer matches can be incredibly hit-or-miss making the whole experience frustrating as hell. Switch on Gears and you're in a game within seconds.

Surely there should be extra kudos for ongoing support and user experience - this I feel gives Gears the edge over Uncharted.

Not going to compare to Arkham City, it's single player only and whilst excellent I found it extremely frustrating at times.

It saddens me that Batman:AC won against the only two exclusives 360 had (I don't own a Kinect). But Nintendo has only one game among their 2011 releases that stood out, so I don't feel too bad. 2012 is here. Let's see what Microsoft will do this year...

So you only want 3 noms for the Xbox, It would be just an embarrassment to say Kinect sports is in there as a best of so you could get a full five noms.
