ACI Airport Economics Survey 2011
The 16th edition of the ACI Airport Economics Survey presents data and analysis relative to airport operations for the financial year 2010 / 2011, based on ACI member input through a survey conducted in the 2nd and 3rd quarter of 2011. The survey generated responses from 604 airports, that together handled 3.12 billion passengers or about 62 percent of worldwide traffic in 2010, providing unique and comprehensive insights into economics and finances of airports around the world.

ACI Annual World Airport Traffic Report (WATR)
The ACI World Airport Traffic Report 2010 covers airport traffic statistics and rankings for the specified calendar year in three areas: passengers, cargo (freight and mail) and aircraft movements. Individual airport entries give international terminal and domestic breakdowns. The 2010 report includes traffic analysis, trend charts, country-by-country and airport-by-airport data. Annual reports for previous years (1991-2009) are also available.

ACI Quarterly Traffic Bulletin
ACI has compiled a Quarterly Traffic Bulletin of global traffic performance (passengers, freight and movements) from the previous quarter. Quarterly traffic growth is shown by region for both total and international traffic. The report also shows market share by airport size, airport growth by country, and corresponding GDP figures. Data analysis indicates the top growers and decliners along with top international airport growth, and global trade volumes.

The ACI Global Traffic Forecast 2010 - 2029 combines ACI’s global industry data sets with its deep knowledge of the industry and DKMA’s 40 years of forecasting expertise. It delivers a world-class forecast highlighting air traffic development from the perspective of the airport industry. It is a unique and unbiased view of the expected development of aviation over the next 20 years. The 2011 edition covers 2010-2029. It is based on detailed inputs from over 300 airports all over the world, from small O & D airports to large hubs. In terms of passenger activity these airports represent over half of all passenger traffic globally. This high level of coverage means that the ACI / DKMA forecasting team is confident that the forecasts closely reflect industry expectations and are the most accurate forecasts available at the time of writing.

Much of the text has been distilled from excellent guidance material available from several large Civil Aviation Authorities around the world, ACI Member Airports’ operational safety procedures, ICAO material and other international aviation and non-aviation organizations’ publications pertaining to safety.
