Here at IGN, we review new episodes of TV series before they air as often as we can, to let you know whether or not it's worth watching. Reviewing TV shows is very subjective, as everyone has different tastes in series, but you can trust that IGN's editors will always give you their honest opinions in each review.

All shows are rated on a ten-point scale, which breaks down as follows:
    10.0
Virtually flawless. No TV show is absolutely perfect, but 10s represent the pinnacle of television brilliance. It doesn't get any better than this.

    9.0 to 9.9
A fantastic achievement with only minor flaws or imperfections. If a show scores a 9.0 or better you know it's a must-watch for anyone who enjoys good TV.

    8.0 to 8.9
An excellent television experience that misses the boat in just a few key areas. TV shows that score in this range still come highly recommended by IGN.

    7.0 to 7.9
An enjoyable TV show that has some obvious flaws. Shows scoring in the high end of this range might have some first-rate elements, whereas the lower 7s have some serious shortcomings that keep them from ever achieving classic status.

    6.0 to 6.9
Passable, but just barely. TV shows in this range have more blemishes than strengths, but still might be worth a look if you're into the show's genre.

    5.0 to 5.9
TV shows scoring between a 5.0 and 5.9 have numerous major shortcomings. Generally only fans of the particular genre will get any enjoyment out of this one.

    4.0 to 4.9
Not exactly wonderful, but a TV show in this range can be "so bad it's good" -- a guilty pleasure.

    3.0 to 3.9
Any TV show that scores in or below this range isn't worth your time, and if you happen to catch one airing, you'll probably change the channel.

    2.0 to 2.9
TV shows of this caliber are way below even the "so bad it's good" mark. They're just bad.

    1.0 to 1.9
This is worse than bad. It's physically painful to watch.

    0.0 to 0.9
The absolute worst of the worst. TV so bad that you feel the urge to shower after seeing it. There are no redeeming qualities, just total non-entertainment.
