No matter how old you are, you probably won’t ever forget the first time you visited a Disney theme park, primarily Disneyland.  Nothing beats stepping into the Magic Kingdom for the first time and taking in all the sights and sounds, whether you’re riding the Matterhorn or giving Mickey Mouse a hug.  (C’mon, you know you did it.)  Not everyone can afford a trip right away, though, so it’s nice to see we have a digital alternative that’s just as magical, even if you don't have a pair of mouse ears at the end of the day.

Zen Studios has been on a roll in 2011, with the release of several pinball tables for both Zen Pinball and Pinball FX 2, namely the Marvel Pinball tables.  But this holiday season, it's continuing to build on its reputation by releasing a quartet of new tables.  Coming next week, Marvel Pinball: Vengeance and Virtue will give you four more reasons to flip out -- and for moderately cheap.

When it debuted for the PlayStation Network a couple of years back, Zen Pinball introduced a great service to pinball fans everywhere, as well as casual players.  It also showed that Zen Studios hasn't lost its touch when it comes to making great pinball games, which they still prove today with new Marvel-licensed and regular tables for both Zen and Pinball FX 2 on Xbox Live Arcade.  Now they've taken their flipping act to the mobile front, as Zen Pinball makes its debut on the App Store for iPad and iPhone.

To teach business students about the challenges of strategic competition in the video game industry, MIT Sloan School of Management Prof. John Sterman has developed a Web-based simulation program called Platform Wars, in which players battle for video game supremacy. Fortunately, the opportunity to be a part of the battle is not limited to the MIT community. Platform Wars is being made available to users today at no cost through the MIT Sloan Teaching Innovation Resources (MSTIR) website.

Nothing is better than driving down the road at over 150 mph during a sunny day while racing against other people. The problem is you don't have the Ferrari needed to be able to drive like that in the first place. That's where Forza Motorsport 4 comes in. Forza 4 allows you to race with some of the fastest cars in the world without the risk of injury or destroying your car. In this exclusive video interview, John Wendl tells us what we can expect in the XBox 360 title, including an innovative head tracking feature.

Harvest Moon, the farming simulator that harvested its way into our hearts since the Super Nintendo days is due for a Fall 2011 sequel for the Nintendo DS and 3DS. I held the game in my hands on the E3 2011 show floor, earlier today and came away with some impressions.

The Tale of Two Towns features, like the name suggests, two distinct villages with their own cultures, customs, and rivalries. At the start of the game you select your gender and town affiliation. As this is a farming simulation, the town rivalry boils down to food preference. The European styled Bluebell favors animals, whereas the Eastern flavored Konahana is filled with fields of crops.

Games that are based on movie or television IPs always get a bad rap. They are known for horrible development, a sophomoric premise, and overall just banal existence. And sure, Man vs Wild may fit into that schema--it's Discovery Communications way to tap into a video game market that they have not reached before. So does Man vs Wild mark a solid venture for Discovery Communications?

After seeing record ratings last year with the dramatic farewell episodes focusing on Captain Phil Harris’ fight for his life, the seventh season of Discovery Channel’s hit reality series, “Deadliest Catch,” is back on top. The Alaskan crab fishing show returned to a solid 4.3 million viewers and a 2.0 (18-49) rating on Tuesday night, which made it the top draw on cable. In addition, the two-hour premiere episode, titled “New Blood,” averaged a 2.6 (25-54) rating, second on all television only to the two “NCIS” franchises. And for the first time in the series, there’s a cross-platform video game, Deadliest Catch: Sea of Chaos, on store shelves from Crave Games. Captain Keith Colburn talks about the new game in this exclusive interview aboard his ship, The Wizard.
