Four lucky winners of the Mountain Dew Mega Fan Experience were able to play Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for two hours on PlayStation 3 on the massive stadium screen. And as an unscheduled bonus, the four guys also got to watch the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders practice. Tanner Gervais is one of the four winners who has quite a story to share with his friends. Back at E3 of this year, I wandered in to what I like to call the "doldrums." The little booths filled with smaller companies, people attempting to get you to sign up for a credit card amid all the hooplah and confusion. Once in a while, you'll stumble upon something interesting--as was the case with GAEMS G155 Portable Entertainment System. And while I was immediately impressed with the design of this case, and I still am, I can't shake the pricetag or get past the lack of practicality with the G155.

With gamers logging record numbers online playing Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, four friends from Minnesota were able to play on the ultimate screen. The winners of the Mountain Dew Mega Fan Experience were whisked to Dallas, Texas, where Cowboys Stadium became their personal arcade. After playing Sledgehammer Games and Infinity Ward’s newest game in the Sony lounge in the plush luxury box level, Andy Brink and his friends went to the 50 yard line and took the action to North America’s largest video screen for some quad-player action on PlayStation 3. Brink talks about the experience, which included the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders practicing below, in this exclusive video interview.

After weeks of voting, Major League Gaming (MLG) Pro Players have chosen the best of 2011.  MLG has revealed the winners of the 2011 MLG Pros’ Choice Awards. Pros voted on each other in various categories across three MLG 2011 Pro Circuit titles - Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty, Call of Duty: Black Ops and Halo: Reach to determine the best of the best. The Stride Longest Lasting Player awards went to Naniwa (Starcraft II), Jkap (Call of Duty: Black Ops) and Pistola (Halo: Reach), while the breakout player awards were given to Leenock (Starcraft II), John (Call of Duty: Black Ops) and Formal (Halo: Reach).

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment is experiencing record sales for Rockstar Studios’ critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham City this Christmas season. And the new trailer for Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ The Dark Knight Rises has smashed the record for most combined downloads through the iTunes Movie Trailers site and the iTunes Trailers iOS app for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The trailer was viewed more than 12.5 million times in its first 24 hours on December 19, breaking the previous record by well over two million. The HD trailer can be viewed below.

EA Sports rolls out the red carpet on February 2nd in Indianapolis, Indiana for Madden Bowl XVIII. One of the biggest parties of Super Bowl week gets things started before the official kickoff on Super Sunday for Super Bowl XLVI. Nas and The Roots will perform live at the party, which will take place at the Bud Light Hotel in downtown Indianapolis. Once again, EA Sports will use the 3-on-3 format to allow teams of NFL pros and celebrities to face off on Madden NFL 12. The party is expected to attract NFL pros, NFL legends and many celebrities.
