With the latest update to the official site for Thermae Romae—based on Mari Yamazaki's comedy manga—we now have a look at the anime's cast. FROGMAN leads the charge as Lucius in the 3-episode flash-animated adaptation, set to premiere on January 12, 2012.

The rest of the voice cast is as follows:

Akio Ohtsuka - Hadrianus

Tetsu Inada - Planning Office Head

Naoya Uchida - Old Guy at the Public Bath

Hiroshi Shirokuma - Consul Lepidus

Kana Ueda - Yamaguchi (Showroom Woman)

Asa Ueno - Narrator

The short series, produced by DLE Inc. (Eagle Talon), is directed by Azumi Tani (Haiyoru! Nyaruani: Remember My Mr. Lovecraft), who shares co-writing credits with Mamoru Nakano. Toshimitsu Takechi is the character designer and animation director, and Koutarou Yamawaki (Himitsu Kessha Taka no Tsume Countdown) is the Flash animation director.

Thermae Romae—a comedy about Lucius, a public bath house architect in ancient Rome who time travels to modern-day baths in Japan—will be part of Fuji TV's noitaminA block.
