Telegraph iPhone Application

Keep up to date throughout the day with The Telegraph's new-look iPhone news application.

The latest upgrade to the Telegraph news app for Apple's iPhone brings you breaking news, finance and sport stories, Telegraph comment, technology and arts coverage, and multimedia features including videos and picture galleries.

Sponsored by our launch partner Cisco, the app is free to download from Tuesday in Apple's App Store - either direct from your iPhone or by visiting iTunes on your PC or Apple computer.

Features in Version 3.1 include:

- Customisation: select up to five of your favourite topics for an instant snapshot of the day's developments each time you launch the app. Simply open the “Edit Sections” page and choose what you want to read.

- Sync your app to update content then enjoy offline reading whenever you do not have an internet connection.

- Save your favourite articles to read later at your leisure.

- Share an article with a friend by email, Twitter or Facebook.

- Enjoy photo slideshows within articles as well as the dedicated Video and Picture Galleries sections which bring the best multimedia experiences from telegraph.co.uk to your iPhone.

To get The Telegraph app:

  • Click on the iPhone's app store icon.
  • EITHER search for "Telegraph" or go to the "News" category and click on the "Free" button, then on "Install" - OR if you already use the app you will find the latest version in the "Updates" page.
  • You may need to enter your iTunes account password to download it from the iTunes app store.
  • The app will download automatically to your iPhone.
  • Touch the icon to launch.

Or, visit the iTunes app store on your computer, search "Telegraph" or "News", find the app and click on the "Get App" button. Enter your password to begin installation. Once downloaded, sync your iPhone and it will appear on your iPhone's desktop.
