X Factor winners Little Mix have thanked "lovely" Simon Cowell for his support during the competition and revealed that they are scheduling a meeting with the Syco boss for early 2012.
The girlband - Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall - told Digital Spy they are planning to meet Cowell to discuss their future plans after he has concluded his first series of The X Factor USA.
Cowell backed the girl group to win the ITV1 talent show during a cameo on Saturday night's Xtra Factor, midway through the Wembley Arena final. Later, he tweeted congratulations to the four-piece, describing them as "potential stars".
"It was lovely. It was really nice of him. We're seeing his tweets, but we haven't had the chance to actually speak to him yet," said Thirlwall.
Pinnock said: "He said he's going to see us when he gets back, so I'm guessing that will be next year some time."
Edwards added: "We're just going to rock up and be ourselves. We'll just say, 'Alreet, Simon!'"
Little Mix's winner's single 'Cannonball' is available to download now. The physical single is in stores from Wednesday.
