Hear that, internet? That distant wailing sound? That's the cry of a great franchise in need of a leg-up. People Can Fly's Bulletstorm is now available on Xbox Live. Assuming your account isn't drowning in FIFA-related runtime errors, you should definitely download it.
Bulletstorm's one of the finest first-person shooters you'll play this generation, a Gears-seasoned stew of flying limbs, ridiculous alternate fires and surprisingly studied characterisation. Despite this, the game has yet to break half a million sales worldwide. This Is Wrong, and must be addressed immediately. Buy. Now. It's only £19.99.
Alternatively, you could buy Homefront, also now on Xbox Live. It's sort of like Call of Duty but with more Koreans. We gave it a 7/10, mostly for the multiplayer. And as you'd expect from a game that looks sort of like Call of Duty, it's sold a fair few million copies worldwide. Yours, if you want it, for £29.99.

Funnily enough, I completed a rental copy of Bulletstorm this weekend. I would have happily paid 20 quid for the pleasure, it's a great game. Not especially difficult but there are some great set-pieces, the action is relentless and varied, and I learned all kinds of new swear-words.

But hold on a sec, I just bought this little beauty (thats Bulletstorm to be precise) for only £12.99 at game on saturday, ok it was pre owned, but to be brutally xbox and microsoft have to look at there pricing startegy on xbox live, a mean Halo Reach still priced at £49.99 to download, stunned silence is my response. It just doesn't justify spending this kinda money, complete and utter scandel and microsoft know it and we all fall for it hook, line and sinker, what say we strike on buying games on demand for 6 months, anybody up for that, worldwide by the way!!!

Bulletstorm was very short, but very fun. I'm very disappointed with the sales, given the favourable reviews and hype. I'd love to have seen a sequel, hopefully Epic will give it a chance.
£20 is probably a fair price for it; but like others have said it's cheaper in shops/online anyway.
Microsoft really need to look at their GOD pricing structure.

GoD pricing is high because of them not wanting to have harsh competition with physical retail stores. Or something. It's not as if it's difficult to order something online, get it the next day, or hell - what about this 'going into shops' thing people keep discussing?
GoD is convenience, and £19.99 isn't bad for a game 8 months after launch. £50 is silly but some few would be retarded enough to pay that.
