Honav UK is the exclusive licensee of the lapel pin category for the London 2012 Olympic Games ♦

Welcome To Pin Points!  Publisher's Note: (expand/collapse):
  • Many fans consider trading and collecting pins to be one of the sports of the Olympic Games. While pin trading began with Athens in 1896, it wasn’t until the Los Angeles Games in 1984 that it became a frenzy.

The same thing is expected happen around the London Games.

Around the Rings is proud to launch its newest feature, Pin Points – London Collectibles, meant to bring readers the latest on pins and other memorabilia from the 2012 Games.

To deliver the real “inside story” we’ve turned to Paul McGill, a Londoner who has become the authority on pins for the 2012 Games.

He’ll report for Around the Rings every month and even more frequently as the London Games approach.

We’d like to thank our sponsor, Honav UK, London 2012’s exclusive lapel pin licensee, for making this possible.

Look for a pin-of-the-week feature from Honav. This will ensure fans always know what’s hot and where to find new pins before they sell out.

But we won’t stop at pin trading and collecting. There’s a whole world of Olympic collectibles to be explored – you can find links to previous articles below today’s feature.

If there’s something in particular you want to know about London 2012 pins, send Paul a question: PMcGill@aroundtherings.com.

If you have questions or suggestions about other Olympic collectibles, send them to: Collectibles@aroundtherings.com.
