Looks incredible, were it not for the resolution and the occasional low res texture, it could easily pass for a PS360 game.
Lots of buzz around this game, hoping it's as good as Xenoblade. Xenoblade and Trails in the Sky (please buy this game, it deserves far more recognition) have restored my faith that Japan can still produce great RPGs.
It's slightly depressing that cover shooter mechanics have now even made it into RPGs though.
I hope that 'fully localised in English' promise doesn't implicate that the Japanese voice track will be removed. One of Xenoblade's best features was the optional Japanese voicing.
Well I've heard it's more multiplayer (co op online focused). I'm really looking forward to this, mainly because how good lost odyssey was which it seems to share an artistic style.
Will have to finish Xenoblade before this arrives though!
Screw Xenoblade and Skyward Sword, this is the game being released in the Wii's final days that I'm giddy about. I'll have to break out the Pledge once it comes out though; my console must be buried under a sea of dust by now.
Ah, I was hoping this would be an English trailer! I'll be getting a Wii specifically for this game, although I'm looking forward to playing Xenoblade as well.
If games like this were released during the first two years of Wii's lifespan, this console would seriously be still in the frontline. Despite not being HD, if they make good use of motion controls, this will be awesome. Can't wait!
This was even better recieved than Xenoblade in Japan--given that game's amazing critical reception in Europe, it'll be interesting to see how Last Story fares. I've only played the first 8 hours of Xenoblade, I simply didn't have the time to invest in it, which is a shame, I was genuinely enjoying it. Hopefully I'll get round to finishing it before The Last Story comes out.
I'm thinking i'll get this and Xenoblade in the summer draught next year (assuming this will be out by then) to send the Wii off in style before the WiiU comes out
I too believe that the Wii could do better than it did.The only real effort put to the system was from Nintendo itself and some late generation games. It was a misunderstood system mainly from game developers.
Oh man... I want this on the 360 so bad... not fair. Wii is a toy, ppl buy it for their 5-10 year's old. My collegues all have a freaking hacked Wii for their litle kids. They show no respect for video games, most of those Wii buyers. I'm sure there are ppl who treat Wii and their games with respect but, well, at least that's the scene here.
Me too!
Thanks very much for the tip, abigsmurf! =) That looks like a game I would enjoy very much, and I totally missed it somehow... I love the music on the official website too. I can't wait to hear the soundtrack CD that comes with the game. =)

This game running on a freaking Wii? Isn't that an indication of how very wasted Wii's era were in the past five years?

@abigsmurf To me the cover mechanics look more stealth-orientated...

These guys made Lost Odyssey which is the best JRPG of this generation, so expect good things here as well.
