"would you like to appear in a trailer for a video game?" "no" "ok sorry, we thought you might like this dumptruck full of cash...." "i meant no, i'd love to be in your trailer"

  • killuminati2911 #3 3 weeks ago

    Very funny. Nice trailer :D

  • zegerman1942 #4 3 weeks ago

    wow that was horrible actually.

  • dragulagb #5 3 weeks ago

on this site, when theres a COD or BF trailer its like spot the haters in the comments section, personally i think the video was pretty funny and so true the noob with the big gun, overkill and grenade launcher.... and always dying

  • Nephirion #6 3 weeks ago

Lets hope the game does contain the horrible QTE of BF3

  • basstaverns #7 3 weeks ago

And that's all in game footage?

  • TelexStar #8 3 weeks ago

    But it's only running in 30fps!!! /cancels pre-order.

  • weezereire #9 3 weeks ago

Actually found that quite funny. It could be about any first person shooter really. Only COD reference was the last few seconds.

  • Frumper #10 3 weeks ago

    Wow! Slim-line Jonah!

  • Beano #11 3 weeks ago

Tasteless campaign. "There's A Soldier In All Of Us"? I think "Training Our Kids To Fight Our Wars" would be more accurate.

  • Goodfella #12 3 weeks ago

    Good graphics.

  • Geordiemp #13 3 weeks ago

Almost as good as the first one

The RPG guy with proud noob as his emblem. I always thought it would be a cool gamertag....

  • FortysixterUK #14 3 weeks ago

    Lol. Excellent trailer. Good work.

  • bobfish09 #15 3 weeks ago

I've always liked how the COD adverts parodied the game.

  • EddieMink #16 3 weeks ago

Say what you want about them, but Activision are so on the ball when a COD launch is imminent.

They really know how to create a sense of event. Stuff like this is what made me and a few fucks I know go to a midnight launch for Black Ops

  • Mystery_Penguin #17 3 weeks ago

    @Geordiemp

Great link, I'd forgotten about that one. It's a great commercial and I think it works so much better than this one. Seeing ordinary people doing extraordinary things with their weapons kept me in the gun fantasy that is COD (or just about any fps). Now, seeing two hollywood actors in completely realistic combat gear, made me think how stupid this would look in reality.

Still it's a fun trailer and the last guy, yelling and shooting made me laugh.

  • NobbyWallis #18 3 weeks ago

Wasn't that Dwight Howard at the end?

  • kj66246 #19 3 weeks ago

@Frumper Yeah he is looking good.
Although the fucking Mail are fucking arseholes...

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2043355/Jonah-Hills-dramatic-weight-loss-reveals-prominent-pair-ears.html

Ears. Seriously. He's lost 40 pounds and they are having a go at his fucking ears... :/

    /loses hope

i LOVE this trailer this is what all game trailers should be like its pretty much i mean the quality level is there right? but ac dc and half decent actors? bout time the biggest entertainment insdustry actually coughed up for something slightly better than before. i mean movies dont ocst 40 a time

Not a huge CoD fan but that trailer is brilliant.
It actually makes me look at CoD in a better light!

Sometimes we forget that our hobby is all about fun ;)

    @Breach

My thoughts, exactly. Pissing competitions don't make anyone look clever, they just cover people in piss.

  • andromeda #23 3 weeks ago

pretty funny actually, amazing the $$ available for marketing for video games these days.
Was trying to imagine Mastertronic doing a live action ad for UCM Ul;timate Killing Machine, was Dolph Lundgren available back them?

  • MaybeLater #24 3 weeks ago

Surely the characters should be other way around? You don't get to look like Sam Worthington by sitting around playing COD all day; you get to look like Jonah Hill- only a little fatter.

  • LittleRiver #25 3 weeks ago

These live action trailers for COD and BF3 are very impressive... but the only thing that I ever base a purchase on is gameplay.

  • balloonman #26 3 weeks ago

I play like that 'uncool' dude all the time and I usually do more damage than others (: That's the best part about the games — there is no right way of doing it.

  • javvyman #27 3 weeks ago

AWESOME, Nice to see a trailer with a sense of humour! here's looking at you EA
    BRRRRRRRRRRR BRRRRRRR BRAAA BAAA BAAA

Is COD ever this exciting online?

Activision slipping the stars a slimy pay check.

And Sam fucking Worthington of all people? The dude has about as much life and soul as my Grandad...and he's been in the ground at least 13 years

From a guy who couldn't care less about BF3 and MW3, that was a pretty good trailer.

  • saku_luk #34 3 weeks ago

As much as I am not really into FPS, I have to admit it was a good ad.

  • razzastuta #35 3 weeks ago

Well, the trailer made me laugh.

Although the trailer doesn't exactly follow what goes on in-game, especially for camaraderie in Multiplayer. Where's all the other guys screaming "f***ing noob" at him? :)

  • Jonny5Alive7 #36 3 weeks ago

    Haha that was excellent.

  • CUTZ-SIX #37 3 weeks ago

I love that last guy with the tube!

  • swills #38 3 weeks ago

I haven't ever bought (or played) a MW game in my life, but I was still quite entertained by that.

Bringing some big Hollywood stars in certainly gives it a sense of legitimacy that video games haven't typically had in the past. Plus, it was quite fun.

  • hiddenranbir #39 3 weeks ago

Poor EA...all that trash talk and now they're gonna be all mad.

  • ronuds #40 3 weeks ago

Damn, Jonah Hill lost a lot of weight. His head is still huge, though!

I thought the ad was hilarious.

  • telboy007 #41 3 weeks ago

@kj66246 I assume the Daily Mail will soon start reporting that having a prominent pair of ears causes cancer.

  • amiganorm #42 3 weeks ago

Could of been a trailer for any military shooter, just insert whatever logo you want at the end.

  • Garibaldi #43 3 weeks ago

Cool advert. Though maybe their advertising budget would've been better invested in building a new game engine.

  • Cobalt_Jackal #44 3 weeks ago

@Fightclubber I agree about Sam Worthington. I mean heck even my phat, low hanging left teste has more charisma, more life... has far more acting ability than he does.

Maybe should have been rated 'I' for immature, but still a good trailer. 'Know your audience' and all that.

  • Hamalot97 #46 3 weeks ago

    WORST USE OF AC-DC EVER!

  • freethinker101 #47 3 weeks ago

I just think the amount of money that is being spent marketing this game is now reaching obscene levels. In addition to this I begin to really worry when marketing does not show the product you will be buying.

  • dfinit #48 3 weeks ago

    annoying, really
