Maybe Roddy White should stop complaining to the refs and catch the ball.
It was sweet! Auburn head coach Chizik, with that smug, jutting jaw, said on his own TV show that Georgia dominated Auburn in every phase of the game and Auburn was embarrassed on national TV.
Congrats Georgia Southern on your ninth Southern Conference title!!!
My biggest gripe with Mike Smith's fourth-and-inches call was the hand-off. The ball is 6 inches from a first down, why would you move it back three yards to hand it off? Let Matty Ice plow forward with it in that situation.
Seems like I remember a few weeks ago, Ga. Tech was ribbing UGA about losing two games, being irrelevant and not being ranked. Funny how things flip flop ...
Coach Richt showed a lot of class by not running up the score against Auburn in the second half.
Going for it on your own 30: gutsy. Trying to run it up the middle: moronic.
Georgia is averaging 35.8 points per game, has the No. 4 defense in the country and just beat the defending National Champions by 38 points, yet people are still underestimating them ... Go Dawgs!
Can all of you Monday Morning Quarterbacks finally admit that you don't know more about football than Richt and Bobo? Y'all had both fired a month ago.
Oh well. So much for betting on Boise State or Stanford to beat LSU or 'Bama.
On 4th and inches in overtime, my 2-year-old grandson turns to me and says, "Papa, they're going to hand if off to Michael Turner up the middle."
I wish every game in Sanford could be like this past Saturday's game! That was the most exciting atmosphere I've ever been in at a Georgia game.
I am not shocked when GT football has a big win then a big loss. The Jackets have been doing that for decades.
Nothing but grass from the pile up to the sideline and downfield, but our runner went straight into the pile up. He had a sure first down and possibly long, long run simply by going outside.
I guess Smitty didn't have much confidence in his defense.
Welcome back Falcons. Where have you been? Who are the imposters playing in your place for the last three years?
Tebow may have only completed two passes, but that's better than Stafford's four to the Bears.
How come Coach Smith gets a pass for his 4th down call and Coach Johnson doesn't ?
OK, Tech, collect yourselves after that mental blowup and win the last two, especially upsetting the Dog bandwagon!
Coach Mike Smith, it's tough enough to win games in the NFL without the coach losing it for you. Why does Atlanta keep bringing in these first-time head coaches? Fire this guy and go get Bill Cowher.
