Team Astromega

Team Astromega was founded by Mikke Van Hool and his father Marcel in 1995. Starting with the first race in Silverstone in ’95, with Mikke behind the wheel, up to and including the last FIA International F3000 Championship race in Monza in 2004, Team Astromega took part in every single one of the 108 organized events. They won 8 races and gained 17 stage wins. Team Astromega have cooperated with renowned racers like Fernando Alonso, Gonzalo Rodriguez, Justin Wilson, Mario Haberfeld, Giorgio Pantano, Soheil Ayari, Gaston Mazzacane and Marc Goossens.

Since 2003, Team Astromega has been under the care of Werner Gillis and Mikke van Hool.
