A relatively simple dance to perform, the steps are as follows:

Kick out your right leg first, then stomp.
Kick out your left leg second, then stomp.
Kick out your right leg twice, then stomp.
Kick out your left leg twice, then stomp.
Take your right arm and swing it towards your face, then bend downward and pump.

Then, add four high claps of your hands.
Rock back and forth, four times.
Finally, take your hand and perform a slicing action by your neck.

A form of hip-hop style line dancing, the A-Town Stomp was popular in the early years of 2000 but can still be seen today in a few nostalgic hip hop clubs.
