Crunchyroll to Join Application Release Party on the Latest Version of Google TV

San Francisco, Calif. (November 3, 2011) – Crunchyroll, Inc. and its application will be featured on the release of Google TV 2.0. It joins a small but growing group of Android applications optimized for Google TV. More information can be found on http://www.google.com/tv and www.crunchyroll.com.

Users can access Google TV through the Logitech Revue or Sony Internet TV Blu-ray Disc Player Powered by Google TV. However, the Crunchyroll application itself will be free to download and use, enabling all users to view its entire anime and Asian content library on the aforementioned platforms. Viewers can also sign up for a premium membership to gain instant access to the latest episodes from hit anime titles airing one (1) hour after Japanese broadcast.

With a Crunchyroll application already out on the Android marketplace, this is the next logical step to address the growing demands for tech-savvy, anime fans everywhere.”

Viewers can also stream anime from Crunchyroll.com, Crunchyroll's Anime iPhone and iPad Apps, Vizio VIA internet-enabled televisions, Roku, WD TV Live, and Boxee set-top box solutions, as well as through affiliate partners.

Crunchyroll premium members will have access to the largest anime and drama selection, same-day access for simulcasted titles, no advertisements and can be viewed in 480p-to-720p quality on selected titles.
