On March 16 2011 CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale, turned 40.
To mark this momentous milestone we have put together some exciting events, competitions, awards and activities to help you celebrate with us.

Brewed by Grantham Branch, it is a 1040 ruby coloured beer hopped with ammerillo and summit hops. Available in the free trade ready to be served on the 16th March.

Dawkins Ales, Bath, Somerset
Dawkins Special Ruby - abv 5.0%
A full bodied beer with deep red fruits, a highly aromatic nose and bitter finish enhanced by dry hopping with the expressive Cascade hops. Out on 24 March.
Hill Island Brewery, Durham
Double Tops - abv 6.5%
A dark brown ale, especially brewed for the campaign's 40th birthday.

Life Begins - abv 4.0%
Kissingate Brewery, Lower Beeding, West Sussex
40th Anniversary Mild
Brewed for National Mild Day. It will be featured at CAMRA N.Sussex National Mild Day event at The Swan, Crawley on 14 May.

Roaring Forties - abv 4.5%
A rich amber beer with biscuity character and fruity hop aromatic overtones.
Redemption Brewery, Tottenham , London
Redemption Trinity - abv 3.0%
A mild brewed with 3 different malts and 3 different hops at 3%. It will be first available at the
London Drinker Beer & Cider Festival.

R'UB 40
WC Brewery, Chester, Cheshire
Founders' Crawl - abv 4.0%
Amber-coloured ale with a fantastic hit of hops. Brewed for the Founders' Crawl of Chester and available in the Brewery Tap, Chester on April 2nd.
West Berkshire Brewery, Thatcham, Berkshire
WB-40 - abv 4.0%
A ruby coloured beer. Available throughout Berkshire.
Wye Valley Brewery, Stoke Lacy, Herefordshire
Campaign Ale - abv 5.0%
IPA-style, strongly hopped, strong ale using Celeia and Bramling Cross hops. Campaign Ale will be available from early March throughout Herefordshire, and beyond, in usual Wye Valley Brewery outlets, and will feature at the Herefordshire Branch Social on March 16. More information
