Buffalo, N.Y.-based Synacor is currently looking for a product manager, email to help develop, maintain and cultivate the company's line of email products. Synacor's email product manager will be responsible for "defining the product direction" for the company's email and communication suite, as well as ensuring that the company's repertoire of email and communication offerings are up-to-date.

In addition to staying abreast of Synacor's competition, the email product manager is also in charge of spreading the word about Synacor's products at trade shows and to technology vendors and so on.

Ideal candidates should have experience working with email clients or email hosting and at least three to five years of experience in product and/or software development concerning email. A bachelor's degree in computer science or a business-related field is also a plus.
