I love Halloween, I really do, and nothing makes me more about the holiday than an excellent, well thought-out costume.

Having looked through past set visits that we've done on Halloweens of years past, I found quite a few shows that have really gone all out on their Halloween episodes.

The two shows that always do it best are Today and The View.

On October 31, 1997 Today's Matt Lauer, Katie Couric, Ann Curry and Al Roker took to Rockefeller Plaza to interview their fans, who all happened to be dressed up for a costume competition. Lauer and Roker stole the show though as Barney Rubble and Fred Flintstone.

On October 31, 2000, the ladies of The View filmed a vampire themed episode in which they all dressed as their favorite bloodsuckers. Guest Bill O’Reilly even joined in on the fun, dressing up as Dracula.

Check out the video above for more from these two Halloween specials.

What are you dressing up as for Halloween this year?
