What's the score with singleplayer? Did they introduce something so you have to be persistently online to play it now?
No, not that i remember it so. Guess it's just the once to auth your account.
The online has to go through Battle.net, but that's about all I remember. Single player I this is fine.
I'm Platinum league but barely play anymore, it just takes too much time and effort to get better now I've reached a halfway competent level. I don't want to learn lots of different build orders for my own race and the other races (just so I know exactly what they're up to when I scout them). Plus it's really stressful, you have to concentrate hard for 15+ minutes. I think I might be getting too old for online RTSs. I really enjoy watching the game though.
As for the singleplayer, I haven't touched it.
the singleplayer is superb, Knight. Great pulp sci fi story and the levels are like puzzles for different units and stuff. S'great.
I pretty much suck at the game but I always wanted to put more time in. I'd be up for some forum games soon.
