Gathering for the Catholic New Media Celebration

I’m so happy to share this almost perfect picture from this weekend’s Catholic New Media Celebration.  I say “almost” since we’re missing Arwen and Rebecca - but here you see Danielle, Rachel, Robyn and me gathered for the CNMC, hosted this past weekend by the Star Quest Production Network.  It was a weekend of fun, faith and friendship.  Our own Rachel moderated a terrific blogging panel which featured the lovely Danielle and several other noted bloggers.  F&F friend Sarah Reinhard also presented in the blogging track, along with American Papist Blogger Thomas Peters.  The conference also featured a social media “meet and greet”, a podcasting track, a children’s track and a special mass today at CatholicTV.

I’m still in Boston and will be flying home tomorrow - my head is filled with ideas, but the best memories of the weekend have to do with time spent in the company of good friends.  Faithandfamilylive.com is the perfect example of Catholic new media - a faith-filled group of individuals coming together to use the latest technology to reach out, share our faith and encourage others to grow closer to Christ in fun and creative ways.  Spending time with my F&F girlfriends makes me so appreciative for the blessing of these amazing women in my life.  If you’d like to enjoy some of the recordings from the Catholic New Media Celebration, visit www.sqpn.com

OK, great show girls!

Some of my favorite memories from the CNMC will be…

Hearing Danielle tell me about her graceful swan dive over the dog (listen to this podcast and you’ll understand)....

Robyn tweeting about my red shoes (a fashionista I am not- but my college aged daughter would be pleased!)...

Rachel telling me I need a new avatar picture ‘cuz I look younger IRL (You made my day! And I’m working on the avatar upgrade)...

And the post-CNMC dinner out with my longtime favorite writer-friend Lisa!

I’m impressed you gals color-coordinated for the picture.

You ladies are both hip and modest.

Great show.  The conversation flow was fantastic. I did have to laugh at myself driving to work listening to 4 wonderful ladies (and a lovely baby) having a “gabfest”. But I think I am a secure, 21st century man comfortable with my masculinity that I can go with it… lol. Great job. It really was a different dimension to the podcast and quite delightful.

I loved the podcast with all of you together—- and I’m laughing, ‘cause Danielle is petite like me!!

Where is the picture of Sarah and her earrings?
