The President of Sierra Leone, His Excellency Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma is coming to Massachusetts on Sunday September 25th

President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma will be in Massachusetts on a State Visit as guest of the Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Governor Deval Patrick. The President will arrive in Massachusetts on Sunday September 25th through Monday September 26th, 2011.

The Sierra Leonean Community in Massachusetts will welcome President Koroma on Sunday September 25th at the Boston Marriot Copley hotel, 110 Huntington Avenue, Boston, Massachusetts, 02116 with a Presidential Reception starting at 5:30 pm prompt. To cover the cost of the hotel, town hall like meeting, reception and light food at the Boston Marriot Copley, entrance to the event will be fifty dollar ($50.00).

On Monday September, Governor Deval Patrick will Officially welcome President Ernest Bai Koroma at the Massachusetts State House, Beacon Street in Downtown Boston starting at 9 am prompt.

The ceremony at the Boston Marriot Copley was put together by members of the Sierra Leone Community, the Society for the Advancement of Sierra Leoneans in Massachusetts (SASLAMA, Inc.), APC New England/Boston Chapters, SLPP, PMDC, Muslim and Christian Organizations in Massachusetts, Tegloma of New England and Individual efforts.

We are encouraging every Sierra Leonean in the New England Area and beyond to please come out in their green, white and blue to welcome our President to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. President Koroma is the President of Sierra Leone and he is a President for all Sierra Leoneans and everybody is invited.
