Following confirmation that Level 5's striking RPG Ni No Kuni will be released in the west early next year comes what appears to be its western name: Wrath Of The White Witch.
The name comes from a trademark application, filed in the US by Level 5 last Friday and spotted by Siliconera. It's not entirely dissimilar to the game's Japanese subtitle, Queen Of The Holy White Ash.
Ni No Kuni, a collaboration between Level 5 and revered Japanese animators Studio Ghibli, was released in Japan for DS last year, selling 170,000 units in its first week on shelves. The PlayStation 3 version will be released in Japan on November 17, and Level 5 CEO Akihiro Kino confirmed at the Tokyo Game Show last month that the game was being localised for the west.
