Warner Bros Interactive today both announced and released Scribblenauts Remix for iOS devices. The game, co-developed by 5th Cell Media and Iron Galaxy Studios, combines the most popular puzzles from Scribblenauts and Super Scribblenauts which were both previously only available on DS. It's also fully iOS 5 ready, able to sync with iCloud so the game can be played across multiple iOS devices with a single purchase, while saves are automatically transferred. More >

Other Ocean’s previous experience with Dark Void Zero and Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night (the XBLA port, anyway) holds them in good stead for this “story of survival as a lone person trying to escape chaos and destruction amidst an alien invasion in 1950s London.” The game is poised for release this year.

Edge columnist Randy Smith's micro development studio Tiger Style, which he runs with David Kalina, has revealed Lost Mars, its follow up to the fantastic Spider: The Secret Of Bryce Manor. Apparently part Metroid, part 1970s-era sci-fi films and part gardening, Lost Mars is being made for iOS and being shown off at a live demo event in Austin, Texas, on September 4. Spider, which was Tiger Style's first game, was one of iOS' first gems - expect a similarly great blend of action and story from Lost Mars.
