This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced online marketing professional to join the marketing team of an innovative and very fast growing online games publisher! You will be responsible for all marketing and communication activities regarding the German-speaking market for the games published by our Client.
Your tasks will cover a broad spectrum of activities including market research and analysis, strategic and media planning, managing local adnetwork and affiliate campaigns, marketing asset development and social media/viral initiatives. You also will liaise closely with the respective Game Producers and the other territory marketers and marketing specialists (e.g. PR, SEM/SEO).
Responsibilities of the position:
•Defining and executing the territory marketing strategy for the games released in German
•Working closely with external partners (including advertising agencies) to drive specific marketing programmes and promotions, establishing a strong contact network
•Performance analysis of marketing campaigns
•Quantifying and tracking brand health
•Contributing to the European social media strategy and execution for the territory
•Develop marketing assets for the territory and liaise with brand management in the localization of regional assets
•Monitoring interactive entertainment business trends and competitors, identifying opportunities and risks, and making recommendations to drive the business
Required skills & experience:
•Bachelor's degree in business or marketing (or equivalent)
•Must be experience in a Marketing and /or Communication related field
•Proven interpersonal, communication and presentation skills – must be able to engage and motivate a wide audience, including marketers, operational managers and top management.
•Well organized, self-motivated and able to prioritize and accomplish tasks with minimal supervision.
•Strong analytical and creative skills
•Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with privileged information and handle a high-pressure environment.
•A positive attitude to dealing with people
•Knowledge and experience of web 2.0 / social media
•Microsoft Office knowledge essential; must be competent at spreadsheet management
Desired skills & experience:
•Experience of working in the games or new media industries (or similar fast-paced environments) would be a distinct advantage.
•Knowledge of the MMORPG and/or Free-to-Play online games is desirable.
•Established network of partners in France a plus
•Multilingual candidates are a plus.
