Pianist Extraordinaire Benefit Concert Saturday, November 11 - 3:00 PM Episcopal Church of St. Matthew One S. El Camino Real San Mateo, CA Mimi Blais, the popular French Canadian pianist from Montreal, will play a special benefit concert on November 11 at St. Matthew?s Episcopal Church in San Mateo. This is an excellent opportunity to hear this wonderful artist perform in a wonderful concert venue. Proceeds from this performance will provide funds for Shelter Network, a project to help families help themselves. This worthy program helps struggling working families with housing, counseling, job training, budgeting, food and child care. Dubbed the "New Queen of Ragtime" as well as the "Female Victor Borge," Mimi shows her remarkable technique as she plays the works of Scott Joplin, Eubie Blake and Joseph Lamb as well as other composers. Her unique blend of a charming and witty personality along with a sensitivity and love of ragtime music make her concerts unforgettable. Admission: $20.00 General $15.00 Students Mimi's special concert will take place Saturday, November 11 at 3:00 p.m. at the Episcopal Church of St. Matthew, One S. El Camino Real in San Mateo.
