Heiko Hubertz, CEO of German browser game developer Bigpoint, was last night named Entrepreneur Of The Year at the Investor Allstars Venture Capital Awards in London.
Hubertz was honoured following a year in which Bigpoint has attracted $350 million in investment and reached 200 million registered users.
"This is a fantastic accolade for Bigpoint and me personally," he said. "2011 has continued to see our company defined by a sustained level of expansion and innovation.
"We look forward to building on this momentum in 2012 and beyond, as we seek to accelerate our global expansion and provide the optimum mulit-platform online gaming experience to our customers the world over.”
