Game Boy Advance games are first from series to be released in America
Game Boy Advance games Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation 1 and 2 are set for summer and fall US releases, respectively, according to a
press release from
Atlus USA. This will be the first time a game from
Banpresto, which was founded in 1977 and has produced games for anime including
Gundam Seed,
Dragon Ball, and
Sailor Moon, has been released outside of Japan.
Errata (2005-03-08): Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation 1 and 2 will be the first games from
Banpresto's Super Robot Wars series to be released in America, but not the first
Banpresto games ever to be released in the US. Most recently,
Bandai America released
Lupin the 3rd: Treasure of the Sorcerer King in 2004.
